coles recipe booklet : feed your family for under ten dollars.

irritation. coles is promoting this thing and basically what it is, is a booklet with recipes that you apparently only spend ten dollars on to feed your whole family. sounds great but don't be deceived. if you know of me you will also know that i have eight brothers and sisters and when we eat dinner there is a total of eleven people that need to be fed. now in the 'recipe booklet' it say that you can feed your WHOLE family for only ten dollars but when you look at the recipes within the booklet it says that the serving size in only four. this is a joke because this will clearly not feed my whole family, we will have to almost triple the recipe which means it will cost more than ten dollars. another issue with this booklet is that the recipes only give you the main ingredients and don't put things like the spices you need etc. on the buying list because they just assume that you have them in you kitchen cupboard. what if it isn't in you cupboard? you will then have to buy that item that they so cleverly didn't tell you about and you will have to spend once again more that ten dollars. OH THE DECEPTION! what a joke.

if you are one to cook you will know of the inconvenience of cutting onions. they make you cry in a uncomfortable way. so we have found the solution to the crying when cutting onions situation. you wear GOGGLES! you cannot wear sunglasses or just normal glasses because the onioness seeps through the sides and you can't just wear normal goggles that the swimming athletes wear because they don't cover your nose and quite often that can contribute to the tears. you have to wear snorkeling goggles. this will give you the best result when cutting onions. and now you will never cry while cutting onions.

today was the start of youth week in australia and i went to this awesome event party type thing and it was pretty sick!
so we got there and it wasn't very pumpin but it was still great! the band...

all played for us and they were flippin AMAZING! it was wicked.

after louis artec played i got a poster from them and they signed it, it was fair amazing! the quarters were sick as aswell and summerset avenue did a wicked cover of paper plans by M.I.A.
and i swear it's the last time were AMAZING! i think because i knew the lead singers brother it made me like them more but they were actually pretty cool and it was not good because i had to leave half was through, but it was still electrifying( if thats even how you spell it)

so you should check those band out :)

NRL AND STATE OF ORIGIN.

i am quite the rugby fan. i was planning of going to at least one game of rugby and watching state of origin on the tv whenever it was on but NO! because melbourne is annoying and doesn't support anything other than afl. there are only like 2 games being played in melbourne and they are one sundays which i am unable to make which is SO annoying. and i can't watch the state of origin because i will be too busy perfecting my talents every wednesday night. i am really depressed it is like a whole year without rugby. but hopefully melbourne storm (they aren't my team) will get into the grand final because then they will play it on tv in melbourne, and then i will get a little bit i rugby in even if my team isn't playing.

commerce.

i am currently in commerce, i am blogging alot about school latley because we just went back only 2 days ago for second term. i am in commerce with lara bird and shannon cross. Mr Davatis or THE DAV MAN as we like to call him is talking to us about our victorian market Excursion that we are going on, on friday. it will great. "Get your head around that!" just you know a quote from the dav man himself. i must get to work.

dont you reckon. i am doing and oral presentation about how aboriginals have an amazing connection with the land. although my teacher is the one i was talking about earlier, it is ok because she isn't talking much today. HAZZAR!

harry potter.

harry potter is the best creation ever! i love it so much it just makes my day everyday. ron and hermione are my favourite and i actually don't like harry that much but he does have his funny moments like when he drinks the lucky syrum. i love luna lovegood and neville longbottom because they are just AMAZING and i think that they don't get much credit for it. the harry potter series are the ultimate books and movies. I LOVE IT!

what a joke.

so school has come upon me once again and still although i told myself i would do it i haven't done my holiday homework. my english teacher is no nice person and if i told her i was busy being religious she would just yell. she once made the joke that one day she would make the office ladies call bart simpson to the office over the P.A system, no one in my class laughed and basically she has hated my class ever since all because she isn't an amusing person.

for english we are studying a book called.. 'deadly unna?' it is not something i would spend time reading usually so i have no desire to read it and complete homework on it so i am going to be yelled at and maybe punished with a detention. if they picked a book that was more interesting for everyone.. everyone would read it and do the homework on it and then we would not be yelled at and no detentions would be given and through this the teacher would seem nicer because they had no need to yell in the first places... unless she is just one to missunderstand and get angry at everything like my very own teacher.

it is a little bit of a joke but we must continue in getting an education because if we don't we wont be very smart.

if you have read the blog of my brother ashton (http://countryroadandcheckeredshorts.blogspot.com/) you would have heard of the butch/bob and josh situation also know as 'bosh'. well it is getting pretty intense and i know that some of you wont have to deal with realtionships like these but if you do ashton and myslef put together a quick video on how to spy on them whilst they are in the car. bosh do spend alot of time together in the car 'talking' apparently but ashton and myself do not believe so we spy on the.

just on sunday, myself and ashton were forced to wait up for butch while she was with josh in the car. myself and ashton both needed a picture of them to put on our blogs to show the world what is really happening so we ventured out into the wilderness making sure to turn off the sensor light in my front yard. we pretened to be secret agents and using our ninja skills we made it all the way to the back of 'the car' only for myself to trip and hit my head sufficiently hard on the back of this car. although i could have been concussed or even died we were forced to bail so we could dodge the rath of butch. we were unsuccessful but we will deffinatly try again later.

today my dog killed/ate a bird. it was slightly disturbing. we believe that the reason for the event was because mum bought him the wrong food. see, my dog it really small and skinny and because of this he eats the small adult food, anyways my mum bought the big adult food and it is seriously huge and my poor little dog 'ben' can't even fit one piece of the food in his mouth so he just didn't eat it and well my family didn't really notice this and yes well he basically just didn't eat and this very morning when my brother went out to feed him found ben with a dead bird at his feet. all the feathers were ripped out etc. etc. so this MUST of been a terrifying event for my poor little dog i mean not eating for a couple of days and having to kill a bird. he was weeping and you know it was just not nice. we bought him some food THE RIGHT FOOD this time and all was well except ben really doesn't like to me alone now!

beach baby.

today, myself and most of my family went to edithvale beach. it was an amazing day for the beach with perfect weather. we just relaxed and talked about our super amazing lives. we went walking through the water and found a couple of jellyfish and some random clear things. they were weird and no one knows what they are. later in our adventure we played beach cricket, i used my superiour bowling and batting skills to show how elite i truely am.
i love the beach :)

diarama

on the 2nd of april, breann came over so we could make a diarama of my sisters wedding. it was pretty successful. kamilah and breann did most of it they got all the pictures and the box and paints etc. i contributed by getting the real life srubs and went walking down the street with breann in search of flowers because my neighbourhood just isn't into the floral scene. when we showed the finishing product all the 'happy couple' did was laugh at how we spent our whole day making a diarama of their wedding. SUCCESS!
